From the Principal's Desk

September 5, 2025

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your continued support! Together we've made it through week 3, having welcomed our newest Toucans into the school. Our PTO had a wonderful team of volunteers make our PreK students' very first day of school so special.

We look forward to seeing everyone during our Open House on September 10th at 5 PM

Thank you for reaching out to us at elise.rosch@dodea.edu with your questions and concerns; your quick communication helps us resolve things efficiently. Enjoy a restful weekend!

AAFES Lunch Information

Important reminder from AAFES: The grace period for free/reduced meals from the 2024-2025 school year will end on 29 September 2025. Families who have not re-applied for the 2025–2026 school year will automatically be moved to the full-pay category after this date.

Other important key points:

  • Applications submitted after 01 July 2025 apply to the 2025–2026 school year.
  • Many parents mistakenly believe their previous status carries over into the new school year. While this is true, they must reapply before the end of the grace period each school year to avoid reverting to the full-pay category.
  • Parents can apply or re-apply at: www.linqconnect.com

For purchase limits/item/meal restrictions, please contact the cafeteria supervisor via phone / email with your request so that the account can be updated.
