Zukeran Tribune Parent Newsletter
Zukeran Tribune Parent Newsletter
Dear Families,
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in our Zukeran community. I see students every day, and they are happy to be here safe and engaged in the learning environment we’ve created together.
Club information can be found under the School Activities tab. If you have any questions, please reach out to the club sponsor or Kerwin.Jones@dodea.edu.
Please know that Mr. Jones and I are here for any questions or concerns about conferences or report cards. If you'd like to volunteer for our upcoming study trip, please email David.Andler@dodea.edu, our volunteer coordinator and administrative officer. All volunteer paperwork must be updated each year, so please ask Mr. Andler for a new form if you need one.
Also we still need volunteers in the lunchroom, recess, afternoon dismissal, and in the library. If you are interested in any of these opportunities please let Mr. Andler know. Be on the lookout for updates from your child’s teacher, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Warm regards,
Elise Rosch & Kerwin Jones

School Coffee and Connect with the Principals
Every Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 at Zukeran Elementary School
Zukeran's Principal's Coffee and Connect is a weekly open forum with our school Principal where various topics are introduced, ideas are shared, and questions are answered. These informative meetings take place inside the school, face-to-face, and parents may join virtually as well via the meeting link.
Free and Reduced Meals
DoDEA families can apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits during the government shutdown.
The assistance is intended for the duration of the shutdown. Per USDA requirements, free or reduced-price meal eligibility is based on income and family size.
Parents can visit the linqconnect.com/public/meal-application/newsubmit and search for “AAFES DoDEA” to submit an application online.
