Zukeran Tribune Parent Newsletter

From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you to the kindergarten parents who came to enjoy the amazing kindergarten students celebrating their end of the year. The team put in a lot of work and practice to make it a success.

For students in grades 3-5, we anticipate receiving summative assessment student reports this summer, and they will be sent home in August. Please see Dr. Jackson’s informative overview of what to expect.

Reminder: When dropping off children, please be sure to pull up all the way along the curb before letting them exit the vehicle. Stopping in the traffic lane often causes a traffic jam, creating unsafe conditions in the drop-off zones. Please remind your child to exit only on the left, step away from the car, and proceed to the sidewalk immediately to avoid unintentional accidents.

Also, please ensure that you are supervising your child on the playground should they wish to use it after they are dismissed from class. Students should not be on school grounds unattended from 1:40 and 12:40 on Tuesdays until 2:10 P.M.. Thank you for your understanding in this important safety matter.

Parent Coffee and Connects will occur every Wednesday at 9 AM at school or online at https://meet.google.com/spp-dfki-cfq.

Please e mail us directly at elise.rosch@dodea.edu if you have any questions at any time. We are here to resolve and prevent concerns in a timely manner.

Thank you for your support and have a wonderful weekend.

 Elise and Kerwin
