Welcome to Zukeran Elementary School!
It is my pleasure to serve as an instructional leader of an amazing staff of professional educators that is committed to student excellence, social emotional wellness, and building strong partnerships with families. At Zukeran Elementary, we are focused on carrying out DoDEA’s vision to “provide excellence in education for every student, every day, everywhere.” Our goal is to provide a world class education for every student based on their individual needs and in accordance with DoDEA instructional goals and standards.
The Zukeran Elementary community extends beyond our 21st century learning hubs, studios, and neighborhoods. Our school includes the surrounding community and families of our students. At Zukeran Elementary, we embrace strong partnership with families, community members, and command. We know that through our collaborative work together, students will participate and achieve more. Lunch and Learn seminars, principal coffees, and volunteer opportunities are just some of the activities we encourage you to participate in as part of the Zukeran Elementary School community.
Another commitment that we share at Zukeran Elementary is to continuous improvement. We encourage our community to also be a part of our continuous improvement process and offer exciting opportunities to collaborate and contribute to our school. Some of these experiences include the School Advisory Committee (SAC), Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and opportunities to learn about the state of the art, 21st century environment offered to our students at Zukeran Elementary School. Making data informed decisions and using research-based, high quality instructional practices that will help every learner achieve their best is our commitment, and we invite you to learn about these best practices with us.
Our collaborative team embraces the DoDEA mission to "Educate, Engage, and Empower Each Student to succeed in a dynamic world". The Zukeran Elementary team of professional educators looks forward to its continued partnership with families, the military command, and community members to fulfill this important mission.
The elementary school experience is a wonderful, memorable time for not only students, but for families as well. Zukeran Elementary School invites you to learn more about the hands-on, 21st century collaborative learning experiences that are offered to our students, from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.
